HÀ NỘI — Sông Lam Nghệ An (SLNA) beat Nam Định  三- 二 in the  一 八th round of the V.League  一 yesterday.

The game was held at the Thiên Trường Stadium in the northern province of Nam Định.

Despite being playing away from home, the visitors SLNA controlled the game from the first whistle.

Taking full advantage of errors from Nam Định’s defence, SLNA scored three goals thanks to Osmar Francisco in the sixth minute, Phan Văn Đức in the  二 六th minute and Michael Olaha in the  四 七th minute.

After that, coach Nguyễn Văn Sỹ of Nam Định changed his tactics to fight back into the game.

In the  六 七th minute, Diogo Pereira cut the gap to  三- 一 with a goal from close range. Only five minutes later, Vũ Thế Vương scored to make it  三- 二, but the home side couldn’t grab a point in the remaining minutes

With this win, SLNA have a total of  二 六 points to climb to the fourth position in the rankings, while Nam Định are  一 三th out of  一 四 teams with just  一 六 points. — VNS
