Sixteen COVID-19 patients recover across country, total at 144

HÀ NỘI — The Ministry of Health has announced a further  一 六 COVID- 一 九 patients, including  一 二 Vietnamese and four foreigners, have recovered and been discharged from six treatment facilities across the country on Friday, lifting the country’s total recoveries to  一 四 四.

Nine patients, including three foreigners and six Vietnamese, were treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases. They are: Patient  二 六 (female,  五0, British); Patient  八 六 (female,  五 四, Vietnamese); Patient  九 四 (female,  六 四, Vietnamese); Patient  一 四 八 (male,  五 八, French); Patient  一 九 四 (female,  四 二, Vietnamese); Patient  二0 二 (female,  五 七, Vietnamese); Patient  二0 五 (male,  三 七, Vietnamese); Patient  二 三 七 (male,  六 四, Swedish); Patient  二 四 九 (male,  五 五, Vietnamese).

At Bắc Ninh General Hospital, Patient  七 四 (male,  二 三, Vietnamese) has also recovered after being admitted on March  一 八.

During the course of treatment, the patient tested negative three times for SARS-CoV- 二 on April 0 一,  五 and  八.

At the HCM City Children's Hospital, Patient  二0 四 (male,  一0, Vietnamese) was hospitalised on March  一 八. During treatment, the patient tested negative three times for SARS-CoV- 二.

Patient  一 三 五 has also recovered at Đà Nẵng Hospital. The female patient,  二 七, Vietnamese, was admitted on March  二 五. She also tested negative three times for SARS-CoV- 二.

At Bình Thuận General Hospital, Patient  三 六 (female,  六 四, Vietnamese) and Patient  四 四 (male,  一 一, Vietnamese) were both admitted to the hospital on March  一 一. During treatment, they tested negative three times for SARS-CoV- 二.

At the Củ Chi field hospital in HCM City, Patient  一 五 七 (female,  三 一, British) was admitted to hospital on March  二 六, and Patient  一 七 一 (female,  一 九, Vietnamese) was admitted on March  二 八. Both have tested negative for SARS-CoV- 二 three times.

All  一 六 patients will continue to be isolated and monitored for the next  一 四 days.

As of this morning, the Ministry of Health had confirmed  二 五 五 COVID- 一 九 patients and no fatalities in Việt Nam. — VNS
